The
Jr. High and High School Ministry of Cornerstone Word of Life
is known as “Ablaze” because they are on fire to know
God and to make Him known. This ministry is led by Youth Pastor,
Robert Conover, a graduate of RHEMA Bible Training Center in Tulsa,
OK. Robert’s vision is to see today’s youth serving
God with great zeal and intensity.
Ablaze
meets every Wednesday night at 7:00 pm in the Youth Building where
live, upbeat, worshipful music by the Ablaze Youth Band ushers
in the presence of God. Then, the Word of God is preached with
great relevance to this generation. Ablaze also has regularly
scheduled Christian activities that include concerts, day trips
and evangelistic outreaches.
Every Tuesday from 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm is a program called OCTANE - Obtaining Christ’s
Teachings - Ambassadors Now Emerging. This is an intense discipleship
training program which will empower the youth to reach their generation
with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
